March for Life Rally – Washington D.C.The March for Life is an annual rally protesting both the practice and legality of abortion, held in Washington, D.C. on or around the anniversary of Roe v. Novena For LifeJoin the spiritual battle to establish a culture of life in our nation as Brother Knights and our families come together in both public and private acts of prayer to promote the protection of life. Knights are invited to join the walk, and volunteers are needed to prepare (grill) and serve food for the participants. Operation LAMBOperation LAMB, “Least Among My Brethren”, is a program to provide support for those with intellectual disabilities and their families. Volunteer activity involves passing out Tootsie Rolls after selected Masses and receiving small donations to help fund this activity. Special OlympicsOur Council provides support at this very special event that helps people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success through the power of sports. Fatima Rosary RallyThe Annual Fatima Rosary Rally is a nationwide prayer to Our Lady to lift and save America. Life ChainA peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals. Volunteer activities include acting as Marshals for the event, or joining the life chain to pray for our nation and for an end to abortion. 40 Days for LifeThis campaign brings together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40-day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism. We do this with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion. Room at the Inn Annual BanquetResponding to the call of Christ to nurture life, Room At The Inn, operates housing and programs for single, pregnant women and single mothers with children suffering from homelessness offering them opportunities to have new lives of healthy, hope-filled independence. The annual banquet is a major fundraiser supported by Council 13236 and attended by many brothers each year. Event is free, however a donation is expected. More info on the Room at the Inn website. The Pregnancy Network Annual Gala For LifeThe Pregnancy Network has locations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem where they provide free counseling and healthcare for women with unplanned pregnancies. The annual banquet is their primary fundraising event and includes a meal at the Grandover Resort Hotel with a keynote address and a silent auction.
